Do you know what Self help or Self Love is? Take a second and think of when is the last time you actually took a second to yourself, bought yourself a cute outfit for no reason, smiled just because.
Let’s break down what self help is… the use of one’s own efforts and resources to achieve things without relying on others.
Now Self love… regard for one’s own well-being and happiness (chiefly considered as a desirable rather than narcissistic characteristic).
This book is one of many great resources. I will totally recommend this book to anyone, no matter what your situation is. Depression, Break up, Not sure where to go in life, need a refresher, want a fresh start.
As a mom who has been staying home the last few weeks, I realized how much i spend with my daughter. How much of my day is not spent alone. I realized that bringing my daughter to hourly day care is okay, How just having a cup of coffee in peace is not harmful. Going to the gym for an hour a day is perfectly fine. Going down stairs after my little on is asleep to have a glass of wine, perfect okay!
Do yoga, have a journal, write a blog, go live on facebook, read books!
Be You, Do You, For You
Ask yourself these questions:
What’s in it for me?
Are Your negative beliefs are the biggest obstacle between you and your dreams?
Why Do you Quit?
What is desire to learn, cultivate gratitude, and learn how to forgive for a happier, richer life.
“You are perfect. To think anything less is as pointless as a river thinking that it’s got too many curves or that it moves too slowly or that its rapids are too rapid. Says who? You’re on a journey with no defined beginning, middle or end. There are no wrong twists and turns. There is just being. And your job is to be as you as you can be. This is why you’re here. To shy away from who you truly are would leave the world you-less. You are the only you there is and ever will be. I repeat, you are the only you there is and ever will be. Do not deny the world its one and only chance to bask in your brilliance.” – Jen Sincero, You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life
